If you prefer your culture to be a bit more indoors, there are outlet stores and a huge variety of antique shops with items that are unique to the area. There are craftsmen and artisans, including quiltmakers, potters, furniture makers, weavers—the old craftsman's skills are alive and well in Vermont.
