Summer in Vermont

Contrary to what you might read Vermont in the summer is not a drawback. Just because it is not snowing in the summer doesn’t mean you can’t have the time of your life. In the summer you can expect to do several things such as kayaking, golfing, hiking, and mountain biking.

For starters, as soon as June rolls around you can enjoy Vermont Days where you can enjoy all the great parks that Vermont has to offer. This is from June 9th to June 10th, so hurry up and get there. You can not only visit the state parks for free but you can also fish for free, go to museums for free, and just remember that visiting the museums and going fishing for free are only allowed on June 9th.

If you want to go kayaking be sure to visit the 7 best places to kayak in Vermont. Visit the Village Sports Shop or East Burke Sports if you are new to kayaking and want to give it a try. And if golfing is more your thing then there are several places you might consider when you go to Vermont in the summer. There are roughly 18 golf courses in the state of Vermont so you’ll want to consider them all before making a choice. If you want to see an absolutely beautiful golf course you’ll want to go to the Green Mountain National Golf Course.

Of course there other beautiful golf courses, but you’ll just have to come to Vermont before you decide which is the best golf course. If mountain biking or hiking is more your thing then you might want to give several mountain trails a shot such as Stratton Mountain, Mount Hunger, and Killington. Of course, there are five other mountain trails to consider.
