Copper is located on the Top of the Rockies Scenic Byway route which takes you through some of Colorado's most amazing high alpine terrain. Start at Copper and head south on highway 91 crossing Fremont Pass at 11,318 feet, where the road goes over the continental divide. From there, head down into historic Leadville and enjoy quaint shops and cafes in the highest incorporated town (10,200 ft) in the U.S. The drive to Leadville takes approximately one hour. Continue 15 minutes to Twin Lakes which is the endpoint of the scenic byway. The road then continues over Independence Pass to Aspen.

The Rocky Mountains provide Breckenridge Resort with unparalleled summer activities. From historical tours to fly fishing, the choices here are endless! The Breckenridge Golf Course is the only municipally owned Jack Nicklaus designed course in the world. With 27 holes on three different courses, there are many choices for your day on the links. By air, fly into Eagle Airport and then drive east on I-70 approximately 60 miles.
