Its panoramic landscape continues to amaze it's thousands of yearly tourists. One of New Mexico's greatest tourist attraction, the Angel Fire Resort, offers some of the best landscape in all of New Mexico. But the resort has a lot more to offer than just amazing visuals. It's a year round natural play place!
Mountain Biking
The terrain in Angel Fire offer some of the world’s best mountain biking trails. Home of the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup, Angel Fire is a mountain biker's paradise. Its rough terrain offers up just about any challenge. Beginner's can take smooth paths while the more experienced can challenge some of the rougher trails. These scenic trails offer anything you need, on two wheels!
Chairlifts
Now, I know what you’re thinking. What can I do with a chairlift in the summer? Well, the vantage point you get from atop the chile express will change your mind. Bring you backpacks and pack your lunch, the beautiful hills and trees offer the perfect picnic atmosphere. From up there you can also take advantage of the hiking trails, and get the best view of Angel Fire, from above.
Rafting
The Angel Fire Resort is located on the scenic Rio Grande Gorge. The Rio Grande offers some stunning rafting possibilities, and well as lazy rides down river. This one of the most relaxing and/or exciting ways to experience Angel Fire. Don't forget your bathing suit!
Fishing
Have you got fishermen in your family? When planning your trip to Angel Fire, don't forget to bring you bait and tackle! Angel Fire Resorts own Monte Verde Lake offers spectacular rainbow trout all throughout the summer. Bring your own boat, or just your poles, Angel Fire has both Boats and Bait on sale. Horseback Riding
Horseback riding is by far and away the best way to see the stunning beauty of New Mexico. Visit the stunning Moreno Valley, and breath in that mountain fresh air.
